In order to be able to map changes in mobility and the mobility needs of its inhabitants, the easternmost district of Central Franconia has been conducting a survey since March, which our mobility research department is managing, coordinating and analysing. Between March and May, questionnaires will be sent out to randomly selected households in the Nuremberg region.
This will be widely publicised on the press page of the Nürnberger Land website. There, District Administrator Armin Kroder emphasises the importance of a solid basis in the form of reliable, representative figures so that a realistic picture of the mobility situation can be obtained and gaps in demand can be identified. He therefore explicitly calls on the residents of the Nuremberg region to take part.
After all, their participation can make a significant contribution and help shape future transport planning and the mobility situation.
Parallel to the survey in the district, the city of Lauf an der Pegnitz is conducting an additional mobility survey in order to gain its own detailed insights at the same time. This survey is also being carried out by our mobility research team.
Both surveys will be conducted as usual in paper form as well as by telephone and online. We are pleased that we can create the basis for well thought-out mobility in the district with well-founded empirical findings.
