This is the third time we have co-organised the Nuremberg Mobility Night as part of the Digital Festival.

Together with 130 people from the fields of urban planning, public administration, business, culture and civil society, we came together on a summer’s evening to reflect on the city of tomorrow. The 3rd Nuremberg Mobility Night focused on a question that drives us every day: How do we want to live in our cities in the future?
Mobility futurist Stefan Carsten kicked things off with a keynote speech that took child-friendly mobility as its starting point, followed by an interactive journey into the future with Katrin Elsner and the Morgenreiter Collective. In parallel sessions, participants then had the chance to think for themselves and engage in debate – on quality of life, technology, mobility for all and collaborative neighbourhood development. The event concluded with a fishbowl discussion, a format in which a seat is always left open for the audience – because exciting discussions arise from a variety of questions and perspectives. Our Managing Director, Georg Kern, was right at the heart of it all and contributed what sets us apart: a well-founded perspective drawn from practical planning experience.
As the lead planner for the Plärrer redevelopment, we also promoted sustainable mobility planning at our stand. For the first time, we were able to showcase our hoodies and T-shirts featuring the Plärrer redevelopment. For us, mobility is a question of attitude and, not least, a desire for change.
The unconference was co-organised and moderated for the third time by ELMOgrafico, with superlite.space joining as a new partner. Another highlight was the culinary accompaniment provided by the Regenzeit team with Thai street food.
All in all: an extremely successful evening, and an ‘unconference’ that inspired us to think further.
