Bus Rapid Transit Jogoo Road - Nairobi

On behalf of the Kenyan Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, PB Consult plans together with JBG and ETC an efficient transport system that includes a commuter rail and a BRT, as well as a network adapted minibus transport system (Matatus). To this end, the objective of the consultancy assignment is to carry out Detailed Engineering Studies for the proposed Jogoo Road MRTS corridor.

The Bus Rapid Transit line has been planned in detail by using microscopic traffic simulation (VISSIM). Therefore traffic surveys, detailed road alignment including PT stops, turning loops, depots, workshops and other facilities, as well as operational and maintenance concepts has been made.
