Traffic Survey in Public Transport MVG Munich

The MVG is the operator of the public transport facilities of underground, tram and bus services in Munich. The regular capture of the users in traffic surveys is performed to enable tender planning, product enhancement and revenue distribution within the framework of the MVV’s regulations.

In addition to the regular surveys, ad-hoc studies are performed in the form of questionnaires. These cover various areas of interest. In the last few years, passenger surveys regarding the usage behaviour and the acceptance of replacement bus service and the travel habits of the attendees of football matches.

PB CONSULT organises and conducts the surveys in various fields of interest on behalf of the MVG. The conception of the questionnaire and the methodology is developed in cooperation with the client.
